Ophir Bear is a mentor and advisor for various organizations in Israel and abroad, assisting senior leadership to overcome complex challenges – entrepreneurship, strategy, business development, growth and culture. Ophir is a partner in Cytactic, a cyber crisis management consulting agency, focused on preparing to and managing cyber crisis events in enterprises. Previously, Ophir was the CEO and Co-Founder of Cympire, a company focused on the human-factor in Cyber Security. Cympire develops advanced cyber-security mission training solutions, integrating Israel Air-Force operational culture, personalized learning and gaming.
Ophir served as commander of the Israel Air Force technology unit (OFEK). During his command period, established the Air Force cyber unit, and initiated the NOC and SOC construction. Along his 27 years of service, Ophir established the IAF Simulation and Training branch, was part of the Air-Force strategic planning, and led the development and deployment of various operational and training software systems. Ophir is a board member at iSpace, Israel Air-Force alumni deployment of various operational and training software systems. Ophir is a board member at iSpace, Israel Air-Force alumni startup hub and at Restart, a non-profit organization for rehabilitating wounded soldiers. Ophir holds a Director certificate from Tel Aviv university, and BSc (Ben Gurion university).
